Body Building Fat Loss – How to Build Muscle but Lose Weight

We all want to lose weight. One great way to do so is through bodybuilding. Here are several body building fat loss tips you can try.

1. Exercise daily. While most experts say everyone should get 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day, you need to do more if you want to build your body. Aim for at least an hour of aerobic activity every day. You can split it up if you need to.

2. Get instruction for lifting weights. While weightlifting looks easy, you can easily injure yourself if you use the wrong form. By getting good instruction from a qualified professional, you will learn exercises to help you burn more fat as you work out.

3. Eat right. Make sure your diet includes plenty of protein, fruits, vegetables and whole grains. These are what your body needs to build muscle and burn fat. Skip the junk food, especially sugar and salt.

4. Drink water. Your body needs water to remain well hydrated. Your body does not need the sugar found in soda or alcohol.

5. Be sure to include dairy products. Skim milk is an excellent source of protein that your body needs to build muscle. Some research suggests that people who drink milk regularly lose weight faster.

6. Use caution when considering supplements. Many people use human growth hormones (HGHs) for body building fat loss. The results from these supplements can be phenomenal: fat loss, increased muscle definition and increased energy. However, HGHs can be expensive and have unwanted side effects. It’s best to be cautious before trying them.

7. Eat several small meals each day, rather than the traditional "three squares". Experts say frequent meals boosts your metabolism, so you burn more fat. It is recommend you eat every three hours or so. Each meal should have 40 percent protein, 40 percent carbohydrates and 20 percent fat.

8. Read bodybuilding magazines and websites with caution. As with any other weight loss plan, body building fat loss is loaded with theories, products and gimmicks. Some of them are excellent, others not so much. Take each bit of information with the proverbial grain of salt.

9. Be patient. It takes time to burn fat and to build muscle. By trying to rush the process, you could be doing your body more harm than good.

10. Be proud of your accomplishments. When your body starts to get that ripped look, show it off. You’ve worked hard at body building fat loss and you deserve to show the world what you can do.
